Pregnancy Symptoms

If you face one or more of the following, it could mean that you are pregnant.

Missed Periods
If you are having normal period and you find that you have missed your period generally this is the most common and first symptom most women mention. However if you are pregnant you are also still likely to have slight bleeding which is called “cycle bleeding” up to 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Nausea and Vomiting
This is also called morning sickness, and is apparent soon after the missed period and not usually lasting beyond the first trimester. The intensity of this can vary between women and some even find it difficult to get out of bed.

Breast Tenderness
Women generally feel fullness and “prickling sensation” as the breasts are developing at this stage for milk production. Changes in the breast vary between women, and can start between 6-8 weeks of pregnancy.

Fatigue
Some signs of fatigue can be felt by the mother.

Keep in mind that most of the above changes are present in other conditions as well, and the only true way to diagnose pregnancy is through consulting your doctor and conducting a pregnancy test.
