Pregnancy Stages

Preg_IIOnce you are diagnosed and it is confirmed that you are pregnant you will need to learn about the different stages, what to expect and how to take care of yourself during each stage of pregnancy.

Pregnancy is generally a period of 40 Weeks (not assessed by months) and can vary between 37 to 42 weeks.

A full term of pregnancy can be broken down into 3 main periods called trimesters. Generally women go through a tough period during the first and third trimester while the second trimester is at times known to be a better time.

It is important to keep in mind though that each woman is different and each stage can be different. Some women go through morning sickness throughout pregnancy while others do not have it at all. Some women have darkness of skin and pigmentation while others do not, and while some seem to gain a lot of weight, some women do not.
